$5,000 GRANT HELPS STS. JOACHIM & ANNA CHURCH COMPLETE NEW TEMPLE - San Antonio, TX

Once again, your support has made the difference for a mission parish of the diocese!
With construction nearly complete and cash costs rising (read more at the diocesan website), Fr. Christopher Allen of Sts. Joachim & Anna Orthodox Church in San Antonio, TX reached out to the St. John Kochurov Society to request assistance. The executive committee examined the request and, with the blessing of +Archbishop Peter, was pleased to extend a $5,000 grant to support this great endeavor.
"On behalf of all of us at Sts. Joachim and Anna, I want to thank the Society—you, all the
members of the Committee, Archbishop Peter and all the benefactors—sincerely for the
generous grant of $5,000.00 in support of the construction of our new temple.
"We will be careful to use these funds with wisdom and efficiency, never forgetting the
kindness of those who have donated their treasure to the Society in support of its efforts.
That kindness will be made known as we preach the Gospel in the truth of Holy Orthodoxy
here in San Antonio."
